Tears rained from Heaven
Dreams dripped from clouds
Need came from hearts
Want came from souls.

Who did I think I was
That I could want you so badly
What was I looking for

Was I looking for someone
To accept me
Was I looking for someone
To hold me.

Was I need strength to live

That was what I was lacking
The strength to continue
To live with the flaws
That were me

I didn't think anyone
Would have me
I didn't understand that
God knew me.

He understood all my
Doubts and flaws
He loved me and
Knew that there was
Someone for me.

That someone was you.
You took me in your arms
You loved me without
Thought or doubt.
You understood my tears
And held me.

So now I don't question
God about my life
Because He gave me
You.
