I thought I'd post the blurb for you all. OoLiD is a vampire story set in a world where humans are considered cattle and vampires rule.

Another Friday....

8 more hours or so before the weekend officially starts. Ugh! I don't want to be here. I want to be home enjoying the last days of summer...lol. Okay, enjoying the last days of summer has nothing really to do with the fact that I don't want to be at work today. :D

Got a bunch written on Shades yesterday, so I'm happy about that. It'll be at least 40k, if not more. That means it'll go into print. Woo-hoo! Maybe I should see about adding Be the Air for You to it...make it an anthology with rockers. That way you can have both stories in one. Hmm...might have to think on that.

Well, I don't have anything else to talk about. I hope you all have a great time today and this weekend.

Wicked Wednesday

Okay...I'm making great progress on Shades. I'm hoping to be done by the beginning of Sept. If I can do that, there's the possibility of it coming out in Oct. If not Oct., then Nov. at the latest.

Please, give Stephan a chance. That's all I'm asking. The poor guy isn't having the best time of it at the moment, but he isn't a complete dick. Maybe I made Rocky too perfect. I have plans for Lee, Hal, and Stone. None of which include Rocky or Stephan. Those two guys were meant for each other. In a way, it's like an older man falling in love with a younger guy, but letting the younger guy spread his wings a little and grow up before committing to him. At least, that's how I see it.

Friday Kisses....

Thank goodness, it's the weekend...or almost. I can't wait to get home tonight and veg for two days. Though that doesn't mean I won't be writing.

I'm working on three stories at the moment (like I said) One is Shades of Dreams, trying to get it done asap for everyone. The second one is Destroying Belief, a regency that takes place in Venice during Carnival. And the third is Falling in Love...Again, a reunion story. FiLA and DB need to be in by Dec. 1...which is why I chose to work on them first, but I admit, I'm working a little bit on a bunch of different stories. Sometimes my mind won't settle on one, so I make it happy by skipping around. It makes finishing stories a little slower, but I still manage to get them one...lol

Someone asked why Amazon has Book one and book three of my Home series, but not book two. Well, it takes a while for books to get uploaded from the Mobi site onto Amazon. That's the only reason I can think of....though I'm not sure why the third one is on there already. Sorry about that.

Wicked Wednesday

Good morning, everyone. :) At least I hope it's good wherever you are.

Writing is going well. I'm managing 3k a day on my stories. I have a schedule set up where I work on one story Mon, Wed, and Fri. A different story on Tues. and Thurs. A third story over the weekend. The two that I work on during the week are two that I have deadlines for. The third one is one without a deadline, but I'd like to finish sooner rather than later. I've been doing pretty good and getting about 3k a day done on them. As soon as one is done, I move the weekend story into the weekday slot and pick another weekend one to work on. It keeps me busy, but also keeps me interested, so I don't get bored with any specific one. :)

That's really all I have to talk about today...lol.

I had a good weekend of writing. Added a good bit to Shades of Dreams and have another scene dancing around my head that I need to write down before I forget. You'll get the last two installments of the story this week on the blog. The last installment you get to meet Stephan. :)

I'm planning on writing up the blurb for the next blog story some time this week. When I get time...lol

All I Can Say....

Thank God, it's Friday. Feeling like crap, but I hate calling in sick on a Friday. Not sure why. Probably because I don't want anyone to think that I'm trying to get a jump on the weekend. Not today. I might leave early though, depending on whether or not the medicine I took works. :(

To be honest, I have nothing exciting to talk about. My mind is mush at the moment, so I hope you enjoy the picture. There's just something about it that I love.

Morning, everyone. This picture makes me wish I'd stayed in bed...lol. :D

Someone asked about seeing Stephan's picture...well, you'll be getting that next week on the 19th...which happens to be the last post for Shades of Dreams. What you'll have gotten on the blog is basically the first two chapters of the story. And yes, they are in Rocky's p.o.v., but don't worry. Stephan talks as well, so you'll get to know both of them.

As for a happy story, I have one I started a while ago for a publisher's submission call, but I ended up not having time to finish it. It's about a technology-challenged guy and the geek he falls in love with. I'm going to pull it out, dust it off, and see if it'll speak to me. I'll see about writing up a blurb for you all to check out as well. At some point in the near future. :)

It's done....

Not Shades of Dreams....lol. But my YA, I Call Death Dad, is finished. I sent it to a CP to look over and then it'll be on to the publisher. Woot!

Now I'll be working on a couple different stories until one really catches my attention. One is Dreams...which I've decided to pull...though what will happen is there will be installments up until the 19th. I already have those written and scheduled. I just don't want to take the time to pull them down. So, you'll still be getting Rocky and Stephan for a couple more weeks. I plan on working on their story to finish it up and sub it. I also have two stories I need to finish by Dec. 1 for Amber Allure. I'll be writing on them as well. We'll see how well that goes...lol.

Thank you for letting me know what you think. It always helps to get a second opinion. Now I have to figure out the next blog story...or at least get two blurbs ready for you to pick one. :)

Friday at last....

Nothing great or exciting to report at the moment. Just trying to finish up a story and working on some other ones. But hey, at least it's Friday...lol. Doesn't this guy have a great smile?

Oh...and I wanted to take a little survey. If I were to finish Shades of Dreams early...like before I actually posted all the installments...would you guys have a problem waiting until the full book came out to find out everything? Or would you prefer for me to keep doing it this way, finish the blog version...and then sub it to a publisher?

I haven't made any decisions yet. I'm 13k into the story right now...and will be working on it once my other book is done. I just thought I'd see what you'd like before I made any decisions.

Wicked Wednesday...

Revealing the Past made it to #4 on the Amber Allure Best Seller list for July. Woot! My streak of #1 might be broken, but I'll take a #4 any day...lol. Thank you for that. :)

Writing is going well. I'm seeing the end of my YA story. Hopefully it'll be done by the end of the week. Then I set up a dart board with names of several stories and see which one the dart lands on...lol. I know there are ones that I positively need to finish. I'll make a decision after I send Death in.
